At FBC Helotes, there are many ways to connect with others in the church. However, our groups are where life-on-life ministry and rich Bible teaching take place. We encourage you to get involved in one of our groups.

SUNDAY SCHOOL GROUPS

Our Sunday School Groups meet for coffee, bible study and fellowship on Sunday mornings at 9:45am at our church campus. We have many groups to fit all stages and walks of life, so we can help find a group for you. Also our nursery is open (6 months - 3 years old) and we have bible study groups for children (prek4 -5th grade) and youth (6th-12th grade).

WOMEN'S GROUPS

Women’s Bible Study

Our Women’s Bible Study Group meets on Thursdays in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 pm to encourage one another and spur each other along in the faith. We study Scripture and discuss how to practically apply it to our lives. The group uses a variety of study material - each one is chosen to help you understand the Bible and how to apply God’s Word.

Women’s Outreach Ministry

Our Women’s Outreach Ministry holds multiple events per year. Each event is designed to be fun and inspirational. Next year’s events will be posted in November. If you have any questions or would like to serve on this team, please contact Melody Cooper @ melcooper1104@yahoo.com.

MEN’S GROUP

Our weekly men’s gathering takes place on Mondays @ 7 am at the church in the Connect Room [coffee bar area]. We are committed to helping one another grow as real men living for God. We encourage each other in our faith, our families, and in our work. The group consists of men of all ages and walks of life.

DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS (D-Groups)

Our D-Groups are created for disciples of Christ to spur one another along to grow into the image of Christ and make disciples of Him. D-Groups are where individuals take an interest in the spiritual growth of the people in their group and invest in one another. Our D-Groups are designed to consist of 2 or 3 people (of the same gender) who meet regularly (every 1-2 weeks) to encourage each other in all aspects of the Christian life. Our hope is that you will encourage and be encouraged, challenge and be challenged, serve and be served, and love and be loved by the people in your D-Group.
